I make small batches of ceramic buttons. The process from design to finished item is completed entirely by myself. I aim to make buttons that people want to keep because they are as special as the garment they have created.
I am local, living and making, from Frome in Somerset. Some of my buttons are made of clay dug up directly from my garden. All of my yarn bowls are made from my own garden clay.
I use post consumer cardboard and bubble wrap for presentation, postage and packaging. On the rare event I have to purchase packaging it will be recycled.
My main aim with Zoe Makes Buttons is to interupt the fast fashion juggernaut and make quality buttons to prolong the wear of clothing. I'm very make do and mend!
