LilliputWight is inspired by the coastal landscapearound my home on the Isle of Wight. Beachcombed treasures; sea glass and driftwood worn smooth by time and tide; are collected to make buttons and stitch markers. Delicate sea glass buttons for a summer blouse, chunky driftwood toggles for a cozy garter stitch cardigan and stitch markers to keep the most complicated lace patterns in order. Simple project bowls are formed from a continuous coil of cotton rope zigged zagged together on the sewing machine. These are available in a range of sizes, shapes and colours.

Lynsey Walters
After gaining a BA (Hons) in Printed textiles I went on to receive a MA at the Royal College of Art – graduating in 2000.
I create costume textile jewellery. My work is a combination of handmade and industrial felt - both types of felt are merino wool, my range of pieces includes necklaces, brooches, earrings and some hair accessories. Although I trained in textiles I developed my own methods for working with felt through experimentation, nothing is traditional about how I work with the felt and I hope my work is sharper, fresher and cleaner than what you would imagine when asked to think of 'felt jewellery'.
Although I create Jewellery as a product I see myself as a textile artist as this is where my passion and skill lies. I am inspired by colour, material and technique. I have been working with felt for 20 years and my work has hugely progressed and changed over this time. I enjoy experimenting and pushing the material to see what it can do - or rather what I can make it do! I look at colour combinations around me both in nature and also in my collections of quirky vintage pieces, from crockery to masks to children's toys.www.lynseywalters.co.uk Instagram: @lynseywalters Facebook: Lynsey Walters Jewellery
